Starting out into the world we have to think our decision out carefully. It’s almost certain that after the first journey there will be no retreat and next trips will be necessary. It was exactly the awoken need for travelling that has led Anna Orska to Indonesia. Beautiful islands, enjoying the name of the world’s cradle of craft, turned out to be a perfect place for the birth of second oriental collection of ORSKA brand. The artist stayed for several weeks in a small family household near Ubud on the island of Bali. Among delightful scenery of that place, full of natural beauty, she found inspiration for a new collection in pervasive sculptures. This started a cooperation with local artists from several nearby workshops. Thanks to their long experience, incredible patience and precision we could see the creation of miniature black and white sculptures in the shape of beaks and claws, fish fins, shark teeth, birds and buffaloes’ skulls. The jewellery resembles talismans, charms and small modern totems. Each hand-made element is unique or limited.
