Anna Orska made a long journey to a small village Pharping located near Kathmandu, where she opened a temporary jewellery workshop. For almost a month, struggling with various obstacles, she was designing an oriental collection in cooperation with the local masters. Together they created unique jewellery models. Each piece of jewellery was hand-carved with the use of the method of adornment characteristic of Nepal. The method consists in forging the metal sheet surface with chisels of different profiles. The artist employed in the collection also emerald found in the border region between Nepal and India. The locals believe that the stone has special qualities: it brings luck and protects against evil. Let these exotic talismans and magical stones bring luck also to their new owners.
